Boudoir Day at Stonehurst Place

By Anne Almasy | Boudoir | May 6, 2010 |

These are just a few photos from my last Boudoir Day at Stonehurst Place in Midtown, Atlanta. Seriously, ladies, this award-winning bed and breakfast is an AMAZING place to book for your boudoir shoot! I highly recommend booking a room for you and your sweetie, and enjoying a little boudoir shoot with me while you’re there! This shoot took place in the Master Suite, which has tons of gorgeous light, adorable furniture, a huge comfy bed, and a bathroom that is to die for!

Thanks to all the gorgeous women who came out for the shoot! You were all so much fun to work with!

And a VERY special thank you to my stylist extraordinaire, Cayla Roberts, who provided me with stunning hair and makeup — as always! You’re the best, Cayla!

Morgan: Designer+Dress

By Anne Almasy | Boudoir, News, Weddings | February 15, 2010 |

Since I’ve been blogging so much lately about Atlanta’s own fabulous sustainable wedding gown designer, Morgan Boszilkov, I thought I ought to share one of the images I took of her last year, in her own self-created wedding dress. Her husband is a lucky guy!

I woke up on the day of my January Boudoir Day shoot with a horrible cold! Thankfully I spent the day with six beautiful women who all graciously tolerated my sniffling and coughing. :) The extremely talented Cayla Roberts from Bob Steele Salon provided hair and makeup – call her; she’s wonderful!

Here’s a quick peek of some of the adorable outfits and gorgeous hairstyles that I got to photograph!

Backlit Boudoir

By Anne Almasy | Boudoir | June 22, 2009 |

I just wrapped up another boudoir shoot at The W here in Atlanta, this time for two friends of a previous boudoir client.

I love The W because of the HUGE floor-to-ceiling windows and white linens.

Here are three favorites, sans faces (as always):

Boudoir = Bedroom

By Anne Almasy | Boudoir | May 21, 2009 |

I’m so glad my most recent boudoir client decided to have her boudoir photographs made in her own home! The “boudoir” is the woman’s bedroom, after all; the place where she should feel most comfortable and free to express herself. I think the partners really love in-home photos, too. They get to enjoy photographs of their ladies just as they truly se them in their most intimate moments… in their homes… in their boudoirs.

No faces, as always.  :)  I’m protecting privacy here, mamas!

After sharing these photographs with my client, she wrote a really sweet e-mail, which she said I could share.

“…I had really high expectations for these photos (I, hubby, AND our families still talk about how amazing the ones you guys took of our wedding are) and I was nonetheless ecstatic when I saw them.  They are absolutely wonderful – fun and flirty, sexy but elegant – and exactly what I’d hoped for.  After we scheduled the appointment,  I vacillated between whether this was a good idea or not since I’m not a very outgoing type of person.  I’m so glad I didn’t cancel!  The shoot was amazingly not-awkward (kudos to you!) and the results are fantastic. I will undoubtedly be encouraging the ladies in my life to do a boudoir shoot with you…”
