Last week we were inundated with album deliveries! It’s always so fun to open a freshly-printed album for the first time. :) Here are a few photos we snapped before packing them up and sending them to their new homes:

It’s been a long time since I shared an album design! Lauren couldn’t decide which images to pick for her senior book, so she let me make all the creative decisions! Very fun for me, of course!

First up, Lauren’s book cover, designed by Dan:

The opening page.  She was so relaxed from the first moment we started shooting!

I don’t usually do funny overlays or anything like that in my designs, but the little series below just begged to be put together that way!

Yes.  This girl is in high school.

The very center of the senior book gets lost to the book’s binding, so I like the idea of filling it with a more abstract image.

And, of course, the final photo had to be a shot of Lauren and her mom!

…sigh… I love my job!

Elli and Jason swung by on Tuesday to pick up their Art Album. It was fun to give it to them in person; usually we have to ship albums since so many of our couples live out of state or travel constantly for work. It also didn’t hurt that the four of us snagged a mid-afternoon beer break after oohing and aahing over the album! Gotta love self-employment…

Ashley and Josh got married in 2007, and it was so fun to go back to their photographs and create an album for them!

Ashley and Josh are our FIRST recipients of our brand new Art Album! The Art Album is nearly identical to our Signature Album, with a gorgeous liquid laminate finish on the pages (to prevent peeling) and lay-flat binding (so you get large, panoramic layouts). The Art Book is great if you’re looking for thinner pages (which allows MORE pages in an album), and a slightly lower price point.

On October 11th, this little book will signed by all of Allison and Jeff’s family and friends attending their wedding celebration! Before it’s full of notes and signatures, we wanted to share a few photos.

These books are great because the thick linen-textured paper is easy to write on, and is almost impervious to bleed-through. The pages are scored to lay flat easily, too, so no breaking the spine! And of course, everything is acid-free and archival, so as long as your book doesn’t take a swim in your pool or become your dog’s new favorite chew-toy, it should be around for many happy years!

Oh, loveliness! I am so happy when our clients choose an album to show off their photographs!

This was my very first boudoir book — a 7×7 Coffee Table Book with a sleek black case. Not TOO much to see here, for privacy’s sake, but I did want to share a few photos of the book before it was whisked away to its new home.

We just shipped out a beautiful 7×7 Coffee Table Parent Book for Megan’s mom, Kerry, and we thought we’d share! The book was printed and bound by AsukaBook and designed by Yours Truly (*cough*cough* that’s us).

We just got Jessica and Brett’s Signature Album back from the publisher, and it looks SO gorgeous!

We had a die created from their logo design, and used that to stamp the chocolate brown leather cover.

Their “album” is actually “albumS” — they’re receiving a two-volume set with a total of 100 pages of photographs from their wedding day and aftershoot.

The books have now been shipped off to their new home with Jessica and Brett in Virginia, but here are some photos…
