Hooray!  Our last wedding of 2008 was completely wonderful.  We met amazing people, has some scrumptious food from Affairs to Remember, and made some pretty awesome photos (if we do say so ourselves).
First, a shot of Kris’s adorable little flats.

Kevin Underwood from Michael Azar Salon created a gorgeous updo for Kris. Kevin has been styling Kris’s hair for… I think she said 10 years? When he worked out of New York she said she would FLY just to have her hair cut! Now THAT is dedication — and some good hair cuttin’!

Kris’s mom watches as Kris has her makeup applied by Lindsey with Bella B.

Henrik’s shoes.Â

Henrik ties his tie. Â Apparently there was some to-do about this striped with his pinstriped shirt. We thought it looked fabulous though!

Henrik.

Kris’s stunning updo. Â (I promise I’m not avoiding showing her face! Â Haha! Â I just love her hair!)

Henrik and Kris see one another for the first time since dressing for the wedding.

Look at those amazing flowers!!!  As always, Carla Duncan did an incredible job.  And, oh yes, HERE is the beautiful bride!

The ceremony.

We love the way the autumn theme was so elegantly carried through the day.  Our favorite Lika Milko coordinated everything perfectly!

Toasts are enjoyed by Henrik’s dad and sister, and Kris’s brother.

Another terrific cake by Frosted Pumpkin.

I don’t even remember what prompted this exuberant display… perhaps it was the delicious cake? Â Either way, we love the photo!

Scrumptious signature drink!

More toasting.

The first dance.

Kris dances with her dad.

And the party gets started with a little help from DJÂ Lee J Howard!

Kris’s niece breaks it down on the dance floor!

Henrik dances with his mom.

The end-of-evening glow of Piedmont Park’s Magnolia Hall.

The grand exit.

Kris and Henrik, thank you so much for entrusting us with this special celebration! We loved meeting your family and friends… truly, you may look us up one day and find we’ve moved to Sweden!
