Sarah and Keith’s wedding spanned two days — not because it was such a long event, but because they held their family-only ceremony on Friday evening, then their reception on Saturday evening with ALL their friends and family! This seems to be becoming a trend in Atlanta, and we think it’s a pretty cool idea!

It was fun to work on a slightly different schedule than usual, but what was MOST fun was just working with Sarah and Keith. They’re really wonderful people, and their friends and family celebrated and honored the newlyweds with such joy! It was a wonderful way to spend the weekend!

Ceremony: The chapel at Peachtree United Methodist Church. (They DO allow photography in the chapel, but not in the sanctuary, so keep this in mind if you’re debating between their chapel or the bigger sanctuary!)

Reception: The Vinings Club, where the event managers took INCREDIBLE care of us, and everyone else! They were fabulous!

This was Sarah, rushing to see Keith for the first time…

There are more serious portraits, but we LOVE *this* shot of Keith with his sons! The father-sons goofiness is just too awesome.

Because it was a family-only ceremony, Sarah wanted to try to get portraits of nearly all the family in attendance. Because it was raining outside, we felt lucky to find some nice indoor space for the groupings — and that we knew how to use our lights!

This one little man stayed in the foyer with his dad, since he was a bit on the noisy side! It was so cute to see them trying to peek through the doors! The b&w shot was taken through the crack in the doors as well.

Both of Keith’s sons have diabetes, so Sarah and Keith chose to contribute to diabetes research in lieu of giving their guests favors. Their friends and family DID, however, get one of these cool “CURE diabetes” bracelets!

These munchkins were the first to take the dance floor. Kids are funny.

Usually it’s the groom who slathers cake all over the bride. But this time it was Sarah who smashed cake all in Keith’s face!

We’re not exactly sure who this guest was, but he kicked up some crazy moves at one point! This is one of SEVERAL photos we got of him with both feet in the air!

During their last dance, Sarah started crying… it was so sweet! You can see her tears in both of the shots below!

The big exit! It was FREEZING outside that night, so no one had to encourage them to run to the car!
