What fun!

We were honored to photograph Sara Wynne and Jacob Billingsley’s wedding ceremony in Gainesville, GA, at Gainesville First United Methodist Church — a beautiful dark-wood structure with incredible stained glass and wonderful warm light.

Their reception was celebrated at the Chattahoochee Country Club.

With more than 500 guests in attendance, we were overwhelmed with amazing expressions, details, and fantastic dancing to photograph! We had a BLAST!

A HUGE thanks to Mary Beth from Gainesville’s own The Crystal Plate for introducing us to Sara and welcoming us into the Gainesville community!

This memorial pin was created to honor Sara’s uncle, who passed away just this past spring.

One of our FAVORITE live bands of the year: Papa Sol. They kept everyone THOROUGHLY entertained all night long — including the kids!

Recently we were contacted by Pogo Pictures to do some shots for their directors that will go on the bio page of their brand new website, which is in the works. I had the pleasure of photographing Angel, Zach and lead Director and Pogo’s founder, Steve. The guys were really nice and super-easy to work with, and I wanted to share my favorite shots from all 3 shoots.

Perhaps I’m biased, but I just LOVE the covers and intro pages Dan creates for our books and albums! They never cease to amaze me! I do the interior album layouts, but I leave all the covers and intro pages up to Dan; he’s too, too good at it!

Case in point is the intro page for Rachel and Jason’s 10×10 80-page EX AsukaBook:

Their wedding colors were pink and brown, with a really earthy, yet clean and modern feeling. I love Dan’s take on this, with a crumpled kraft paper look on the cover and the bold text.

I’ll wrap this post up before Dan realizes I’m gushing about him and I get in trouble. *wink*

It was such an honor to create engagement photographs for Trayce and Adam! I graduated from HIP with Trayce in 2001 — we were both single women at the time — and it’s incredible to see how our lives have changed in the past 6 years!

Congratulations, guys! You’re such a perfect match!

Look, it’s Dan’s twin!

Just kidding.

But seriously, Brent’s bald head is just one more reason for us to love Tiffany and Brent! Totally sweet, oh-so-funny, and completely gorgeous: we only wish we didn’t have to wait until May of ‘08 to photograph their wedding!

We LOVE shooting engagement portraits, and seeing our E-Photos on a couple’s finished Save-the-Date cards is the icing on the cake!

We get some pretty awesome Save-the-Date cards on a regular basis, but Joni and Chip’s really stood out because Chip is a full-on graphic artist and phenomenal web designer! The wedding website he designed for himself and Joni is the COOLEST!
