It’s so much fun to see things come full-circle! We photographed Chonte’ and Soji’s maternity photos in September, and at the end of November we were honored to photograph their gorgeous little baby girl Sade’!

Before we jostled and poked and wakened Sade’ from her sweet baby dreams, we got some precious shots of her adorable sleeping-baby face, as well as her tiny fingers and toes! It was an honor to be the first to photograph this newest addition to the Ezekiel family. We look forward to watching her grow!

(Quick side-note: Chonte’ isn’t only a new mom! She is part-owner of Treasured Moments,one of Atlanta’s premier event planning teams. We’re excited to be working with their clients Rashida McKnight and Robert King, who will be getting married in July at The Freight Room at Atlanta’s Georgia Railroad Depot!)

Oh. My. Goodness.

When I found out in AUGUST that my dear, darling, should-be-my-little-sis Nagem (Megan’s secret spy name from when we were kids) was getting married in OCTOBER I called her mom and immediately offered – no, begged? – to photograph the wedding. Of course, they TOTALLY wanted us and wouldn’t DREAM of getting anyone else to shoot! ;)

This was an unbelievably busy fall for us, and I normally wouldn’t have taken another wedding for October – especially when we were also booked for Saturday the 21st (shooting Kristen & Clif’s wedding). So I gave Megan the “it’ll prob’ly take us a full 4 weeks…” heads-up.

So there you go, Megan & Robert: you were warned. And boy did it EVER take the “full 4 weeks”. Four weeks plus TWO, as a matter of fact.

So THANK YOU to the Montgomery and Elliot families for your patience! We hope you love these photographs as much as we do, and that you find they were worth the wait.
